“Diary of a Wimpy Alien”

When the first Diary of a Wimpy Alien became a smash hit in the early days of And You’s “YouTube Experiment,” we evolved the concept from a one-off comedic short into a 2-season web series that documented the misadventures of Greg Xenely and his family. Spanning across 19 episodes, a spin-off Greg Responds series, and several behind-the-scenes and production diary segments, Diary of a Wimpy Alien became our flagship YouTube title with over 35 million views!


Project Goal: Create a multi-season web series parodying Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Alien, and the wider sci-fi and horror genres while maintaining a fulfilling overarching story about family and growing up.
